Past, Present, and Future...

Well, figured it is about time that I post about my summer. And if you ask me, it has been pretty good. I have been on a few vacations, attended some fun activities, and have a couple awesome adventures yet to come. I have also met some pretty cool and... "interesting" people along the way. So, now I am going to tell you the events past, present, and future of the crazy life I am living in.

Past:

* Goblin Valley

For a great start to summer, my family made a trip to the wonderful Goblin Valley. We left the day school got out to celebrate. Well, first of all we had to find a camp... Which you would think would be pretty easy. I think that the whole world got the same great idea to go camping on the same weekend! So, we looked and looked and we finally found this awesome camp ground that had a great view, nobody around, a nice shade tree, lots of space. So, that is where we camped. Well, the next morning there was a whole parking lot full of cars right in front of our place. Turns out that that our camp spot was a very popular trail head. So, the whole time we had people stopping by after their hike. Not to mention, a 6 MILE hike! So, everybody was tired and cranky and needed a drink of water. Let, me just tell ya, It was... It was good. We had a BLAST though! Goblin Valley was awesome! I loved it! Oh, ya and we never actually went on the hike that we had perfect access to the whole time! Ha!

*State Cinderella

Well, the girls in my family have now gotten ourselves into a little bit more that we though this pageant stuff would be. Charlee won Sevier County Mini Miss Cinderella. Therefore she was required to do the state pageant. It was SUPER fun! You did so good Char! I would like to say good job to every girl who participated in this pageant. You all are SO talented and beautiful in every way! It was way fun to watch! Well done!

*California

This summer we took a family vacation to California. We spent two days in Disneyland! I was the only one who had already been, but it was still super fun! Yes, I am 13 and I still love to pretend. This is where I got my newest of my many nicknames, Ice Princess. Long story short, I met a person, that wanted much more than what I had even realized (at the time) At the end of the trip I got a FB request, a phone # and a pretty crazy story to tell. Anyway, we also went to a Dogers baseball game. Even though I wasn't really into the game, I still had a wonderful time. The last day we went to the beach. I didn't do too much swimming, but I got a pretty rad tan line... More like "burn line" Ha! It was a good trip!

*4th of July

I myself love the 4th of July in our little town of Aurora! Everyone who lives here, has lived here, and wants to live here comes! It's great! I talked with many of my friends who I haven't seen all summer and just visited with everyone. I also met up with some of our long lost family friends, the Aitkens which was exiting. I am a firework kind of gal and the fire department did an amazing job this year with the fireworks! Loved it!

Present:

*School

Well, I have finally brought myself to the conclusion that school has officially started. Reason being: I was kinda dreading the fact that I had to go back to school, but my theory to fix that was to change my thinking around so that when I thought of "school" I would not think of it as "school". I wanted to think of it more as summer, just going somewhere during the day. Ya... Well, that worked for like the first day. Until I started to get this new invention teachers call "homework". At first I was a little upset, but I have now realized the fact that "why go to school if you are not expecting to work and get homework" So, now I am rethinking that strategy and am trying to look at the more positive side of things. I have loved getting to see all of my friends again! And getting all our catching up on to do on how all our summers went. I also have a new announcement, that I am sure all the people that are reading my page already know, but I am loving. We have a new band teacher, who is quite awesome if you ask me. I am definitely looking forward to this year and the coming years of High School band.

Future:

*DANCE!

I am SO exited for this year of dance! It is going to be so much fun! I have not been on a team in quite some time and can't wait for it to get started! :D

*8th Grade Year

I am now the eldest of North Sevier Middle School and you bet I am going to live it up! I am going to make the best of my last Physical Fitness tests, 8th Grade testing, Sevier Day, and did I mention the Halloween Dance! tehe And can't even believe that I am going to be in HIGH SCHOOL a year from now! Watch out NSHS, here we come!

*Ah! Birthdays!

What is up with all these people turning 14!? I mean I thought that my life was almost over when I was now actually considered a "teenager" And now I come to school and all my fellow classmates are turning 14!!! Like scary! I kinda got over the whole "teenage" thing and then I am faced with all this nonsense! I mean, we are all going to be driving in a year! DRIVING! Ah! And don't even remind me about dating... Yuck! I am definitely not ready for this!

Well, if you made it through this brief run-through of my "past, present, and future", I would love to hear about yours.
